We would like to introduce the construction case of a station handled by Okju. In the railway industry, pigeon damage to station buildings and platform roofs is a very serious problem. This time, West Japan Railway Company requested a finish using ceiling base materials, and as a result of development considerations, we adopted the "MB Louver," which can prevent pigeons from entering the ceiling interior. It is an extremely simple single-slope line louver composed of two types of components: the louver body using ceiling battens and the stringer. By selecting from several types of louver pitches, various expressions can be created, and if a specific pitch is chosen, it is also effective for pigeon prevention, allowing for a sharp ceiling design in places such as station buildings, platforms, and corridors, where movement lines should be considered.
